Prerequisites

• The user should have access to the Dayforce portal.

• The user should have access to the DataBee console.

Configuration Overview

1. Login in to Dayforce console.

2. Add the Dayforce data feed integration in the DataBee console with the required API username and password.

Dayforce Configuration

1. Navigate to Dayforce login page. On this page, you'll be prompted to enter your Dayforce Company ID and enter Continue to username.

   

2. Enter your Username and click Continue to password

   

3. Enter your login password and click Log in.

   

DataBee Configuration

1. Login to the DataBee UI, navigate to Data > Data Feeds and click the Add New Data Feed button.

   
   

2. Search for Dayforce and click it as shown below.

   
   

3. Click on the API Ingest option for the collection method.
    

4. Enter feed contact information and scroll down.

   
   

5. In the configuration page, confirm the following:

   • Authorization Method: Basic

   • API Base URL: This is the base URL that DataBee will interact with, in the <instance> fill your instance name that comes in the login URL of Dayforce portal. eg: “ustest252”

   • Username: Enter the Username used in the login page of Dayforce.

   • Password: Paste the Password used to login Dayforce portal.

   • Enterprise Name: Enter your organization name that you used to create a account on Dayforce. Eg: “ddn” will be the enterprise name in test environment.

   • Event types: Preselected for all the event types that integration pulls.

   
    

6. Click Submit.

Troubleshooting Tips

• Ensure the password is pasted correctly in the password field. If unexpected characters are included and reconfigure the DataBee feed.

• Ensure the username is pasted correctly on the username column as this feed follows a basic authorization method.
