WHAT IS SECURITY TRAINING AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Security Training refers to the mandatory educational programs that employees are required to complete. The trainings provide employees with the essential knowledge, best practices, and skills necessary to stay informed about security concepts and organizational protocols. By participating in these programs, employees ensure they are up to date with the latest security measures and understand their responsibilities in protecting the organization.
Training of personnel ensures they understand the importance of cybersecurity and that they understand their role in protecting the organization.

CIS CSC v8.1: Control 14: Establish and maintain a security awareness program to influence behavior among the workforce to be security conscious and properly skilled to reduce cybersecurity risks to the enterprise.
