Integration

DataBee integrates with Tangoe to get registered device information. DataBee integrates by connecting to an API endpoint which retrieves a list of device details.

Tangoe Setup

1. To use the Tangoe API’s, request API secret or token from your Tangoe team. Mention that DataBee only requires READ ONLY API access.

2. Request the API subdomain

DataBee Configuration

DataBee will be configured to add Tangoe as a new datasource. The secret and API subdomain will be used to configure the API setup for Tangoe within the DataBee console. General DataBee configuration steps can be founds at https://docs.databee.buzz/docs/api-ingest

1. Login to the DataBee console and navigate to the Data > Data Sources tab

2. Click on Add New Source

3. Search for Tangoe and select it

4. Select API Ingest

5. Enter basic contact information in the dialog box and click Next

6. In the credentials page:

   • Authorization Method: Bearer Token

   • Secret Key: Paste the key provided by Tangoe

   • API endpoint: https://<sub_domain>.thefutureis.mobi/1/devices/business_devices

     1. Replace sub_domain with your organizations domain information. If you are unsure of this, check with your Tangoe support team
