Integration Method: API

Tables: Vulnerability Finding (2002), Device Inventory Info (5001), Software Inventory Info (5020).

This integration supports the following events.

Prerequisites 

  • The user should have access to the Action1 portal with their respective login credentials.

  • The user should have access to the DataBee console.

Configuration Overview

  1. Create Client ID and Secret to fetch the data. 

  2. Create Action1 Data feed in the DataBee console with the required Client credentials.

Action1 Configuration

  1. Log in to Action1 console.
     

  1. Copy the Instance URL & Organization Id, as shown below.
     

  2. From the left-side menu, scroll down & select API Credentials.

  3. Click on the + New Button.
     

  4. After Clicking on the New Button.

    • Enter the required details in the form.  

    • Select My Organization in ‘Organization’ and Viewer in ‘Assign Role’.

    • Click on Proceed.

  1. Copy the Client Id & Client Secret.
     

    Note:

    Ensure that the New API Credentials are stored securely in a safe location for future reference.

DataBee Configuration

  1. Login to the DataBee UI, navigate to Data > Data Feeds and click the Add New Data Feed button.
     

  2. Search for Action1 Patch Management and click on it.
     

  3. Click on API Ingest.
     

  4. Enter the required details in the form and click Next.
     

  5. In the configuration page, add the following details

    • Authorization Method: OAuth2

    • Client Key: paste the Client Id generated earlier in the Action1 console.

    • Client Secret: paste the Client Secret generated earlier in the Action1 console.

    • Instance: replace <instance> in the API Base URL & Token URL with the Instance URL.

    • Organization Id: enter the Organization Id.

    • Event Types: preselected for all the event types that integration pulls.

     

  6. Click on Submit.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure the Client id and secret are pasted correctly. Since you cannot view the secret after the 1st time, re-create the client id and secret, paste it on a text editor to ensure no spaces or unexpected characters are included and reconfigure the DataBee feed.
